This battery worked fine for the first 3 or 4 months but then it got to where it would not fully charge. After six months, it would only charge up to 27%. I tested it with HPs built-in battery diagnostic program and also tried to recalibrate it, but the battery failed with a "Replace (42), Fuailure ID Product ID: 4AL76UA#ABA" erorr message. I won't be buying this battery again.Edit: the seller provided great customer service and sent me a replacement battery under their one year warranty.

The new battery was easy to install. The hard part was taking the cover off my HP laptop with all it's small screws. I'm unable to answer about the battery life or longevity because I just placed the new battery in my laptop.

Included screw drivers and case opening tool (like a guitar pick) were really helpful. Super easy installation. Laptop works great no clue how long battery will hold a charge.
