I ordered this item because it was highly rated. It does not hold a charge 1.5 months after receipt so when I went to return it and it didn't have the return this item bar I was worried. Someone called me back within two hours of calling and is sending me a replacement and a charger that is outfitted for this battery. I hope it was just a fluke. Will return to update after I get new battery.

It says it fits the standard Dell 40wh but it's not big enough. The replacement battery is smaller.

Nice fit and works but the battery life is too short. Laptop would not make it through a 3 hour flight

I had previously reviewed this battery for my HP laptop. The first one lasted about 10 months and went DOA. Seller replaced it under the 1-year warranty with no problems. The replacement (this one) lasted 14 months. I would not recommend this battery. Sorry.
