I just got this, so I'm not rating it on it's life. It snapped right in and showed a 76% charge, so I was able to use my laptop right away. I'm happy with it.

I was a little reluctant to buy an off-brand battery for my old Sony laptop. When I looked battery on BatteryBuy for my Sony PCG-4121GM, I was able to find the right one very easily for my laptop model. It arrived on time and was easy to install. I'm glad I read the directions because you need to charge and fully discharge the battery three times to in order to calibrate the battery. The first charge did not last longer than 1 hour and ran down quickly. The second charge lasted about 90 minutes, and by the time I charged and discharged the battery the third time, my battery was fully operational.

I received the replacement battery last week. It is too early to determine the life of the battery. That may take years but is really the rating most important.
